All three have amazing voices, but I definitely think Kuu has the best out of the three (especially ballads). Ayu is probably second, then Namie.

One day of school, and the thread doubles...

Anyways, I think while Namie has a great voice, but lately it's not that great. I thought her voice was wonderful in "Wishing on the same star". The major aspect I like about Ayu's voice is the amount of emotions that she puts into her voice that I don't find on a lot of other Jpop singers, which is wonderful. Kuu have a good voice potential, but really, it's not suited for overly poppy songs like Birthday Eve. It flowed decently in WIND and Someday, but I think it's better for songs like Butterfly or her more hip-hop songs, although I don't like kuu's voice in Rock (like Ningyo Hime, Selfish was okay. Freaky was just kinda dull, but that might be the song).

I hope she writes more lyrics. Composing, maybe it would be something good, but I was not impressed by Milk Tea and the way she sang it.

I really like the track list. I think it was well done. And about Kuu-chan live...well, I have to say she is pretty good. But there were times when she did lipsync, but that wasn't her fault. Sometimes a singer has to get some rest here and there Plus she does it when she dances, and it's pretty tough to sing perfectly when you dance (Kuu has some crazy moves! xD) Plus she's tired :[

^ I'll do that. Gotta find some pics first XD

Does it even classify as lip-synching when she's just ad-libbing over the backing track? It's as if she's just mouthing the words

"ad-libing the back track" is an excuse to be in denial that she's lip synching. To me, singing to a back track = lip synching, unoless the back track is off-vocals. I can sing a lot better when I have my vocals helping me to do it.

Thanks for answering my question, but I'm not in denial, in case you thought I was.

Koda often sings/ab-libs over a back track, but it's not the actual song. It's more like if you take the instrumental of a single, which often includes some background singing, and sing over that. So I wouldn't call it lip-syncing. Namie Amuro does that on almost all of her performances too.

I thought that was the poster. Isn't it quite long to be a PB cover?

Just a question, since the clips might have weird quality, does Kuu's Pre-Black Cherry tour concerts have backtracks that are the instrumentals or the song? coz from the clips that I've seen it's actually the song playing in the background, not just the instrumentals...

But my headphones have been weird, so that's why I'm asking you guys. Although Kuu is an amazing performer, and let's face it, her dancers are nicer looking than Ayu's dancers.
