Do you think ayu will still promote D-Snap and D-Dock?

after she become half deaf, i think panasonic will replace her...
i think its weird that half deaf artist to still promote audio player product...
although i still want ayu to promote it, but we can't ignore the fact that she is half deaf right now...

i think ayu will face a lot of difficult problem because of her deafness in the future

Like I said in the other thread, I don't know why it would really matter. Ayu is HALF deaf, not totally deaf. She can still represent people who listen to music. Just because she's half deaf doesn't mean she wouldn't use an MP3 player to listen to music. If anything Panasonic kicking her off would probably hurt their image more than not.

Not to mention she's under contract.

Wouldn't it be discrimination? Kicking her off for losing her hearing?

I think they'll use Ayu as endorser till the contract's due time, but I doubt that they'll have new a contract with Ayu for the audio product..

but I think they'll still use Ayu for another product such as camera.. it's the best solution for them..

Why should they change her? I think in the end a spokesperson isn't to sample the products but to show them off and promote them.

^Yea, they have her signed because of her fame. Now that there's more publicity around her because of her loss of hearing, I doubt they're gonna kick her off.

I had a similar conversation about ability/disability with my brother just this evening.

If she is able to make music, she is certainly able to enjoy music and promote a product that allows others to do the same.

its audio product guys, although she still a singer and produce a music, but i don't know its about image...
i don't think her deafness becoming a great promotion for audio product...
i love ayu so much, but i think she must know her limit (and i think she already realize it), its better to promote other product that doesn't need ear to use it...its for ayu sake too...if i'm not an ayu fans, and seeing her still promote audio product, i will think its funny and think that she really an ignorant person

She is half deaf, but she's not the only half-deaf person in Japan, and it's not like she can't hear anything.

Companies like Panasonic signs Ayu on because of her fame.

I agree with you Demure. I think she's "used" for her fame and her beauty. I don't think any japanese would think "God!! So if i buy that d-snap i'll go half deaf!!"

I don't think, they will replace her, because of, she is deaf on one ear.
Why should they? She is not totally deaf... so, she also can use an MP3-Player or something like that.
