Many drugs affect the ear. Some of them can cause permanent damage to the hearing. A well known example is the aminoglycosides, which are used with caution because of this dangerous side effect, for a short period, to treat life threatening bacterial infections. Other antibiotics such as Vancomycin can also permanently damage the ears. Last year, I had a patient who completely lost his hearing and developped severe tinnitus in one of his ears caused most likely by the Vacomycin he had to use to empirically treat bacterial meningitis.
I don't recall ayu being admitted to a hospital because of some severe infection. And you usually won't use these ototoxic antibiotics to treat otitis media in a patient who has no immunodeficiency, even if it's severe, because there are other better antibiotics that doesn't have such risks. Salicylates (Aspirin and the likes) which are sold over the counter, can also induce hearing symptoms in certain people who take them for long periods. But usually, the changes are reversible once you remove the medication.

I doubt this is true. Really, Ayu is careful with choosing persons to work with her and I think she would be more careful to choose a doctor. Ayu only works with people she trusts (CNN Interview), she said it herself. Maybe she told Nagase, he was her boyfriend; but I think this tabloid made it up. She only told mama (Mika John), she said it in her blog. I think I believe Ayu more than a newspaper. Ayu is sincere with other people and she is honest towards her feelings and fans (CNN Interview). She would never lie to her fans, she loves her fans. Why do you think she cries at the end of every concert? Because she likes to perform and she has fun while performing. At the end, she has to say 'sayonara' and just hates it. She would do anything to make her fans happy. When she looks at the crowd, she has this smile, a very heartwarming smile; you can't fake such a smile. Conclusion: FAKE! TABLOID!

I'm pretty sure that she could sue all the people who revealed the private information. They do not have the right to do that and could be fined greatly. These details are personal and she has all the rights to not reveal such things to the world.

fake x 100000000
Benzodiazepines do not cause hearing loss. Etizolam (Depas) is a relatively safe BDZ compared to some of the other ones and its side effects would be minor respiratory depression, mildly sedating, and disruptive sleep cycles. But yes, it is a mild anti-insomniac, not really for depression though... |
