It's not like HamaZaki is TOTALLY wrong to begin with. I mean people quite often pronounce foreign names wrong. There're like hundreds of cases. I have heard weird variations of Polish names - and I also mean those easy ones. So I don't really understand that "Oh no, they said HamaZaki" talk.

Exactly. Plus that was her real spelling of the name in the past, I think for her film appearances. She was known as "Hamazaki", but then she changed it to "Hamasaki" because she liked it better(Start of her singing career).

I wish they would put her on TV in the states! The states suck

No, her last name has always been pronounced "Hamasaki"
