BEST of Female singer songs

I kept thinking today how, even though I got into jpop and ayu as late as 2004, my favourite songs are still released from around 1995 - 2005, especially female solo. So IMO it's the best decade in jpop. (something sales suggest as well lol )

Then, what is the best of the best of this era? Which songs will still be performed in ten years as classics, like yumi mtsutoya's haru yo koi already is? Which songs will inger in the consciense of overseas and japanese fans for a long tiem?

If you were to make a best of female solo songs judged by this criteria, how would the list look?

My suggestions:

Mai Kuraki - Love, day after tomorrow

Namie Amuro - Can you celebrate?

Ayumi Hamasaki - Seasons

Ayumi Hamasaki - Boys & Girls

MISIA - everything

Otsuka Ai - Sakuranbo

mika nakashima - Glamrous sky

And probably two songs by utada or something?

These are by no means my personal favorites, but as the thread intended, the most well-known, recognizable, or popular from each artist:

Hamasaki Ayumi- SEASONS
Amuro Namie- CAN YOU CELEBRATE?
Utada Hikaru- First Love
Kouda Kumi- Koi no Tsubomi
Shiina Ringo- Honnou
MISIA- Everything
Otsuka Ai- Sakuranbo
BoA- Valenti
Yaida Hitomi- My Sweet Darlin'
Shimatani Hitomi- Amairo no Kami no Otome
Morning Musume- LOVE Machine
Ito Yuna- ENDLESS STORY
Onitsuka Chihiro- infection
Nakashima Mika- Yuki no Hana

I think out of all the replies thus far, Austin nailed it. Some people I don't think understand the question.

I think there are really good lists above, I'm just going to add something that's not mentioned yet.

Hitoto Yo - "Hanamizuki" (released 2004) and/or "Morainaki" (released 2003). both singles have around half a million copies sold each, they are really famous songs nowaday and ebstablished Hitoto as an artist. both singles have been performed at kouhaku, Hanamizuki even twice i think.
