[CHARTS + SALES] GUILTY -- ORICON STYLE Thread 4

BLUE BIRD sold good physically and had like 1,000,000 legal downloads.
Together When... wasn't released physically (therefore no CD investments) and had like 1,000,000 Legal Downloads, so I think that both did pretty well and gained a nice very nice profit and of course promoted the upcoming albums of them well.

GUILTY will need to sell around 100k more in order to do so =/

^ I beg to differ. GUILTY 's sales is already around 557,784 and thus in just a few more weeks it will hit 570k..

IMO it reach around 600k... *hopefully*

I think Together When...would have done well as a single, especially if coupled with another track (MIRROR FULL VERSION?!!) because her ballads tend to sell well, especially Winter Ballads.

I think it's a matter of time it'll hit 600k.. i think it's possible for GUILTY to hit that mark.. but i'm not sure if it will beat Secret though.. not to forget the upcoming AT08 will definitely help promote the album a little >_<

True true, but I don't see it selling another 100+ k, sadly. I am pretty sure that it will eventually reach 600 k.

She should do another maxi-single with about 12 tracks. Remixes and stuff...she could include "part of Me," "Together When...," and "Mirror (Full Version)" just for the hell of it since they've never been released on physical singles.

I think a [CD] only, 3 track (TW + t'2m orchestra vers + instrumental) 800Yen single would've been great a month before the album. It could've done really well !!!!!

I'm so peed that Avex will give BoA a single the week before, but not Ayu ?!?! and plus i'm still annoyed part of Me and JEWEL weren't released as singles either.

Seriously, Avex need to start releasing more singles !!!!

a single before an album doesn't always do well. i think in most cases, it doesn't. i would probably still buy it, but if they had the track on the album, a lot of other people would just skip the single and go for the good stuff: the album.

and the days of the 10 track singles are overrrrrrr. do you really blame them with all the internet circulation and illegal downloads? (not condemning, just stating!)

A single before the album rarely does weill ^^ Bold & Delicious, Cherry Girl, Dragonfly and now HEART STATION. I think that the Digital Single was actually a smart move, considering the album was announced.

i expect it to do as well as Beautiful world..or even slightly better than that..but..
