Beginners that in your opinion could become big?

Just stopping by to make a thread XD

Anyway, in the past 2 years there have been quite a few new artist and bands like ayaka, GReeeeN, sifow, abingdon boys school, Foxxy misQ, Yuna Ito and Stephanie, but of course stardom doesn't come flying towards you just like that, which ayu and Koda Kumi can prove to you

So.. in your opinion.. which beginning star of now has it in her or him to maybe become as well know as ayu, Koda Kumi, Namie Amuro and Hikki?

For example, call me crazy but Tanimura Nana has a great voice and she looks cutish/beautiful.. so she could maybe hit it off and go for a big stardom in the future.. now she's still finding her style

Ayaka HANDS DOWN!!!...I mean yeah it may have taken her album a while to sell over 1 million, but it did, and because it's such a great album, now I don't know if it's her that writes the lyrics or not, but either way I think she has a gorgeous voice for high and low tones that just satisfy the ears.

I'd say alan has potential. I don't know if it'll happen with her next single, but I'm pretty hopeful she'll eventually gain a lot of popularity.

I don't know if she'll ever reach true super stardom, but I'm sure she'll be sort of popular someday in china + japan both.

^ I have to agree about alan. Out of all the newcomers, I feel she has the most potential.

Sorry to say, but a lot of the other newcomers just don't stick out in my mind

I originally was rooting for Satomi Takasugi, bu Now I think Alan...I don't know..there's just something about her and she's so gorgeous. Satomi's debut album, didin't really impress me. Hopefully Alan's will be better.

Shota Shimizu, probably. his first single's doing really well without a lot of promo, and his voice is <3. I also think Satomi Takasugi could do well with more mainstream-sounding releases and some good tie-ups.

really, though, anyone of these newcomers could make it big with the right song and some good promo, so I guess we'll just have to see what happens.

Shimizu Shota is also doing a lot of collaborations with other artists, like DOHZI-T and Thelma Aoyama

Hmm..okay I personally don't get the whole hype about alan but it's all to one's taste .

I'd say ayake as of now for the most potential...she hasn't reached her peak yet so there might still be some more million seller albums coming from her.

befor I would have said "mink" but she got stucked somewhere along the way... so apparently she won't grow more at least not in a while.

but now my bet is on Perfume this past year and this year it's been busy for them! had concerts a live countdown and they way her her 2 recent singles went to number 4(polyhrthm) and number 3(Baby cruising love) being on top 30 (Fan service [Sweet]) before along with her first album who charted again, it's amazing.

So that's good, now I'm just waiting for her upcoming second album, let's see how it does.

i don't think ayaka still counted as a new comer, i love her debut single, but i don't like her new release...but yeah she has a big chance to become big...

for me stephanie has a big chance too, we can see that her latest single doin really good on the charts, hopefully her debut album that release today will get a great sales too...
shimizu shota can become big too...depend on his future release...i love HOME very much

ayaka has the potential to be big in the near future . I've been following her since her debut & she's still a bit raw around the edges but given somemore time , I'm sure she can shine .

& oh also abingdon boys school ! I'm prob like their biggest fan in S'pore . They're not really considered new cos Takanori , SUNAO , Shibasaki & Toriyuki has been around for ages but abs's considered a new band in that sense cos they were only formed in '05 & made their debut in '06 .

SUNAO , Shibasaki & Toriyuki helped out in Takanori's T.M Revolution solo project for many years til the 4 of them decided to come together & officially formed abs .

I would vote ERIKA, but I know she's having issues lately... however I LOVED her last 2 singles.. Mix of pop-rock and dance tunes always turns me on
