^ If I'm not mistaking, hitomi used to be quite popular back in her earlier days. Well, not so much with her debut single. But she became more popular when CANDY GIRL was released I think. hitomi was never as popular as Namie, Ayu or Ami back then though. She still managed to sell pretty well though! And her albums are either #1, #2 or #3. Except for "LOVE CONCENT". I think she was quite a sex symbol in Japan too.

i was SO DISSAPOINT beacuse hitomi doesnt perform in a-nation last year
she was in the main stage in 2004, 2005 and 2006
singing HIKARI, SAMURAI DRIVE(2004), SAMURAI DRIVE, JAPANESE GIRL(2005) and medley~busy now~love2000~, by myself and GO MY WAY

i've heard that hitomi only perform in sub stage before 2004 in a-nation...
how come avex will do this to my angel????

hitomi is not that much of an iconic symbol as ayu or anyone else now. I think she's satisfied with her work already.

I just got to like her song Bird. It's so catchy
