This is funny
A LOT of online stores sell J-Pop CD's at very high prices.

Borders. Barnes and Noble. Target. . .

The list goes on lol

same here!

although the reason i think it's showing that target has ayu cds is because their music search is powered by amazon...meaning if you typed in "ayumi" on amazon, you'd get the same results.

They should start putting her CD's & DVD's in their stores! I would be buying something Ayu related every week if they did~

Target was my favorite store until I worked there. We'd go in at 1 pm, and get off work at 2 am. The zoning, go-backs, CODE 1'S NEVER END!

sucks, if the prices were lower it would help increasing American fanbase by a ton. Well, its not going to be every day that an American person is gonna walk by and decide to buy a Japanese album, but it starts out little by little at first and it would grow eventually. bummer

not really, the newer generation mostly are fascinated by some foreign countries like japan. like im korean and technically im supposed to hate japan too like the older generation of koreans do because of japanese rule over korea in the early 1900s. but its one of the most interesting countries to me. Americans from the WWII era will probably still hate them, but the younger folks are a bit more open minded and willing to diversify, well, not at these prices though

Practically every major store like that in the US lists Ayu and some other J-Pop artists on their websites for ridiculously high prices, but none of them actually carry the items in stores. Just look Ayu up on Circuit City's website; she has plenty of products there as well.
