I won't be upset if I went to one of her concerts and she lisyncs. I'm sure she has a reason for doing it. We all know Ayu and she won't do it just "because I don't want to sing this songs today"she always tries the best so as some of you said, if the song need a lot of dancing maybe she just prefered that day to lipsynch in order to give the fans the best show. It must be very difficult to sing and dance and im sure not always can be done perfect.

I went to the concert and she didn't lip-synced.
Correctly, Ayu sang some songs with her vocals( maybe from her CD).
She used her vocals as a back ground vocals because Peco and Princess' voices don't much some songs and they might not be able to sing in a high tone like Ayu does.
While some rockish songs and danceable songs, she used her vocals, BUT!!! she DID sing live,too.
For example, I remember her voice became weak, when a big circular board was spinning ( (don't) Leave me alone).
As for the rest songs, in particular for ballads, she REALLY SANG LIVE. Dearest and Voyage were perfect, and HANABI and End roll were pretty good, too (she looked a lil hard to sing the last part of End roll) !
Anyway, I was so amazed how great she sang even though she's a half-deaf singer.
When the concert ended, I heard lots of people were saying like, "OMG, She sang ******ing good!!"

Lip-syncing is NOT THE SAME THING with singing along with own background vocals.

although I think she usually does that in UNITE! performance (chorus part), but in AT07 she REALLY DID IT LIVE !!!

Lately in her TA messages, Ayu mentionned she was sick...

While I highly doubt Ayu would rather do her best and sing horribly than to lipsync, it's possible she didn't have a choice to do it if she was sick and/or lost her voice. I think the fans would rather see her in show doing lipsync, rather than have the concert cancelled all together.

Im glad there's someone here that went to the concert to let us know about ayu's vocals and if she lip-synced or not in the concert. I don't think ayu would lip-sync but I believe ayu uses back up vocals.

Back up vocals aren't bad at all, it's like using PECO and Yoko just without them and only ayu's voice as back up vocals with ayu's singing live.

She lip-synched evolution and STEP you on CDL 07-08, guys. This is a fact. She lip synchs every now and then on songs that are hard/tiresome to sing. Though I hate it, it wouldn't surprise me if she DID lip synch.

I don't think we can really know if we weren't at this concert.
They might sound lip-synced but they might sound like that like a lot of other performances that sounds lip-synced and they aren't...

Nah I was there(CDL), she didnt lipsynk STEPyou/evolution on CDL 07-08 either. At least not evolution! I can tell in many ways. They sounded very good but well, not at the top in all the notes the whole songs along. Well at least she didnt lipsynk at the consert on the 30th where I where.

I really think she won't
such professional artist like ayu won't do such 'cheap' things IMO
As a singer, even u have problems or what, really, u have to SING, no matter what ^^
and I just love here for that !
Well, singing with BG vocal ON, kuu-chan also did that, it's ok...just to push the vocal, Jolin also did that
that's why ayu has a Manipulator ^^
