Taiyou no Uta: Erika or Maika?

I've seen Erika vs. YUI polls, but not Erika vs. Maika!
Shiratori Maika wrote and composed the song Taiyou no Uta for Sawajiri Erika (Kaoru Amane). She later on recorded a self-cover that appeared in her 4th album, Hikousen.

So, which one do you like better?
Honestly, I like Maika's version better. Erika's voice didn't sound very good at the time, I think hers sounds a bit weird. But it might be because I listened to Maika's first.
