If there were two new songs like BEST FICTION I'm sure it'd be a lot higher... but all that's new on it is a new version of an old song. Big fans of Ayu already have most of the stuff on the album... why buy it?

I think it's going to have trouble reaching #1 like GUILTY too. Although I'm just setting a low limit so that she has a chance to surprise me .

I agree with your prediction, but not with your explanation. The incentive to buy BEST FICTION is definitely not coming from Do Me More and Sexy Girl.

The #1 is in the bag, though. I don't see Suga Shikao beating Ayumi in first week album sales.

I'm not optimistic about the sales of this album because A BEST 2 came out not long ago and A COMPLETE isn't exactly offering anything new or exciting.

remember...BESTs/singles collections aren't only targeted to those who already buy her music religiously. They're also and sometimes more so targeting those who don't buy her music with every release as well as new or non fans that want to hear the 'ELITE' of her music..

Those same people were in the ~750k-1m [rough estimate] people who purchased A BEST 2.

Not to mention the 4m people who bought A BEST.

I don't really see an audience for an Ayumi Hamasaki compilation at the moment, really.

Though, one reason why BEST FICTION sold so well IMO, was because Namie didn't release a BEST album for like AGES... and A BEST 2 was just released last year so... things don't look that good...
