Well I definitely agree that Kurage, Nagareboshi is better than Rocket Sneaker / One x Time, but I think it's more a matter of me not careing for Ai's vocals in the first place. As I've said many times before, they're a little on the whiny side, but definitely not unbearable. One thing I've noticed is that her voice sounds more mature in ballads, while in her upbeat and happy-go-lucky songs, she sounds a bit childish (although I'm sure that's what she aims for). So that's partly why I prefer her ballads over anything else that she puts out.

her voice always sounded like Helium part 2 in those non ballads songs

she sounds more natural in ballads imo
