Thanks for the bigger caps. She looks gorgeous there. Some LQ streaming feed doesn't do it justice.

She did forget a line actually, the first time. She was singing the chorus:

Hajimari na no ka tte Shuuen na no ka tte
Akirameta no ka tte Funbatte n no ka tte
Hirakinaotta ka tte Zetsubou shita ka tte
Tada mae ni susume to Anata wa iu ja nai

She forgot the line in bold. From what I hear, she actually started singing Tatakau teru no katte... which is from the second chorus, but she realized quickly and just waited for the next line. It's minor, I think. She just mixed them up xP

Still, she looks awesome. Good performance =]

^yeah, you're right x) i noticed it now what she was singing by mistake.. bah.. i think that if dhe would finish the sentence and then the next one from the first chorus nobody would noticed it... i think... XDD everybody noticed that sth was wrong XDDD

where we can get a HQ video?? jpopsuki?

and thos pics are... wauu.. mm is someone from japan or a lucky person who knows how to see it perfectly??

^ Yes, it was. I just watched the HD version a few times and it's (imo) the best TV performance Ayu has done in in quite some time.

Someone is from Japan. Nobody would be able to stream that kind of quality. It would "kill" the internet.

Yea she mixed up the lines...but thats ok...i mean...the lyrics are...quite similar in terms of meaning (they're all questions) so she got mixed up...

I LOVED THE LIVE SO MUCH....its very..re-assuring..hahaha
i liked her look too...she got her bangs back?..

i like the new SURREAL choreography

(btw, so with LiveStation...now we can watch her CDL from all over the world?!?!)

I loved that she performed Surreal, when she started with Mirrorcle World, I really thought that maybe the only one she does. The stage and everything was great, CDTV really went all out with that.

But am I really the only one that listened to the vocals objectively? I've collected every Ayu TV performance and this is imo, one of the worst ones vocally with the exception of the CDTV 02-03 Live (where she was sick at the time.) Her vocals in this performance fluctuate so much that at times she is nearly completely inaudible and I'm sure it wasn't a sound problem since no other artist had trouble like that. Maybe its just me that thought her vocals were kinda all over the place? Which is unfortunate because everything else was great. At least she was singing live though.

Also, you can see her tattoo really clearly for the first time in a tv performance.

btw, I also would have preferred if she had made better use of the stage. There were so many places she could have gone to and had more audience interaction, but she stayed on top the whole time - she should've added another song to do that, especially when all the major major artists on the special were doing 3+ songs each.

I feel that recently her singing style has been quite choppy, like she would end phrases very abruptly for example. You could see some signs of it in AT06 and then it becamse quite full blown CDL06-07 onwards. Maybe you could say the style of her songs have changed but the recordings of her newer songs like MW are not as jumpy as the live performances. But how do i watch it? The youtube video walking.proud put up has already been removed

Ok never mind i got it from the downloads thread. Erm, it wasn't pretty for me at all. Her pitch was everywhere in Mirrorcle World although i thought she rescued the part where she sang wrong lyrics well. It got much better toward the end. SURREAL was, oh man. For the bridge and one of the chorus, she was perpetually in another key and even though she managed to hit the high note for the last chorus, the rest of the line was dead flat. She is really very careless in pitching. You can't just whack the note anyhow. But whatever. She looked great and it's her first tv appearance in a long time. I'll take whatever i can get.

EDIT: She sounded okay in MW's perf, but something must have gone wrong in SURREAL's; ayu went slightly off beat at some parts, thus losing the WOW factor =/

Hmm ayu also forgot a small bit of the lyrics while singing INSPIRE during CDTV SP 04-05.

I think her vocals are improved but that's no surprise since she's gone through extensive practice in tour. But it sounds like she's pushing the voice out of herself. It is more rough now than before when she had both ears. I'm sure she's having a tough time trying to find a way to sing as good as before. And I think she did great in this perfomance. Practice makes perfect, she just needs some time.
