Of course they're popular in Japan. To sweetgirl: Just because you don't get top 3 with everything you release doesn't mean you "aren't that popular". Almost everything they release has landed in the top 10 (except their debut single, right?) which pretty much tells you about their popularity. Of course, they aren't as popular as Johnny's, but neither is anyone else.

I'm so glad someone FINALLY made a w-inds. topic! w-inds. are so un(der)loved on the internet. I'm not obsessed with them like I used to be, but they got me into j-pop way back when so I will always love them.

Edit: Also, w-inds. are definitely under Pony Canyon. ^o)

^ i guess I was comparing them with the Johnny's sale.

i realized too that w-inds are not much know or loved in the internet, that is why i decided to start a topic; i may get ppl to know them, i am a new fan myself

i only heard one song from them, TOKYO! <333...it was on like every channel in Taiwan, and the days Seventh Avenue spent at #1 in Taiwan~ amazing!

Yeah, it seems like NO ONE knows them on the internet. I think they're so underrated! Especially compared to inmyopinionoreallyreallyreallyoverrated Johnny's. In comparison to Johnny's, I think their music is definitely a lot more creative... And also, they can actually sing in sync with each other, which Johnny's seem to not be able to do very well (for example, KAT-TUN). Also, their music sounds very neat (like, orderly or clean) because of that and the fact that Keita is the lead singer, so you don't have six different people singing a line or two at a time.

Not to mention, Keita can sing better than any Johnny's man out there. Hands down. Even if his voice is weird~

As a side note, w-inds. have had a few #1 singles too.

tell me about it, it is very frustrating that one one know them and do you know when the list of the artist performing the asia song festival surface alot of members of the forum where "w-inds who?" or "they should have chosen big stars".
and want to know why i came to like them more is that they dance, sing live and sound amazing, i have more respect for such artist like w-ind, namie and AAA.

Apparently Journey tour DVD came out in December '07, and @sweetgirl, they've done a tour for every album.

I don't know when they've lip-synced. I don't actually watch their concerts.

What do you mean by "participated in any form in their album"? Like, have they written any lyrics or music for their albums?
