i wish she wouldnt waste money on her music videos so much. no matter how much she spends, they always look the same and fail to impress anyone. fairyland was such a big waste of money. utada does best, she can take a video like hikari where she's just washing dishes and it comes off a lot better than ayumis expensive videos. she should spend her money on making better music instead. her albums since i am... have been decreasing in quality. she hasnt been the jpop queen for the longest time because of her standards.

I have the hikari PV and thought it was one of utada's most boring PV, i love the song and every time i watch it i think of how good ayu PV's are. I think that it probably costing that much is because of the time that the song is set, it would of cost a bit to make the set look 1930s (I think thats the year its set) it could also be the combined cost for GREEN and Days not just for one

in my opinion, fairyland is such a great PV that attract ppl attention. you see the PV with those blue sea, mountain, azure sky and other fascinating scenery is shot beautifully. a lot of my friend got the attention of her since they watched that PV, so i think thats quite a prove that this PV is interesting to watch. i never think she ever wasting her money to unnecesarry thing in any PV. her PV are always good looking. (well except some of her lately PV that i dont really like) anyway, after all its your opinion, i still respect it

I disagree as well. And unlike Hikki who seems to dislike spending the money on her PVs even though she is loaded, Ayu is still trying to write history and put her money to use. fairyland was awesome, and so was JEWEL, if this one is going to be as good as those then her money won't go to waste. And her music isn't decreasing in quality at all ^^ her latest arrangements sound richer and more detailed compared to pre MA ones. In the end I guess it's all the matter of what you like to hear/see.

♛_baby_ayumi_♛~ I agree with you here. To me having a huge budget for a PV means nothing. Ayumi's pvs of late have weak concepts and really, just boring and recycled. I agree with you, her quality of PVS and music is declining. I can only HOPE green will be any good.

prussian blue~ Yes fairlyland was ok, but it was recycled with Blue Bird. And the glitter recycled the melody. Doesn't this disapoint you when you see the same thing, just slighty changed? You might not think she's wasting her money on the PVs, but she's certainly not retaining her old fanbase by recycling old concepts.

nagamori_etsuya~ I love Utada and Ayumi. Utada at least come up with different concepts and arrangments. The prisoner of love PV was simple and effective, just showing off utada and her voice. Ayumi has become this huge diva, and hides behind showy costumes and expensive pvs. How can anyone relate to her anymore?

njanjayrp~ Utada has some good taste when it comes to PVs. Look at You Make Me Want to be A Man? and Heart Station. They may not have billions of jewels, but at least they have some depth.

seriously?...they always impress me!!! and how do you think she can sell CD+DVD versions of her single and albums if she didn't have good enough of a PV to attract the people?

all the sparkling things in the PV was fake, they were swarovski crystals..so they're expensive, especially when you have a set full of them X_X

LMFAO! I love that with the tongue thing. Ha ha. I agree as well, but I do think Ayu tends to throw play the "high-production value" card often. Ha ha. I enjoyed fairyland - it was gorgeously done. JEWEL was a complete masterpiece as well and she looks SO BEAUTIFUL in it. my name's WOMEN was downright HOT & SEXY. I'm hoping this PV is great as well.
