Thanks a lot for the info, Karen! It's good to see the RED CLIFF beat Natsukashii Mirai, haha. That just proves that avex just needs to try and find as many big tie-ins for alan as possible, until she becomes known enough to stand on her own

And personally, I LOVE the Hitotsu, both song and PV ~ but IMO the b-sides were boring as hell XD with the possible exception of sign (though I doubt an experimental instrumental track would help the sales lol). I don't even remember what the others sounded like.

I think Hitotsu sold badly simply because Ashita e no Sanka didn't sell all that well to begin with, and female soloists almost always sell less with their 2nd single than with their debut.

And I don't remember what the Kaze no Tegami PV looked like, lol...

umm actually Ashita e no Sanka sold 4,729 overall as compared to Hitotsu's 1,486

maybe it has something to do with the scary medusa like covers ?

& to think at 1st I hated alan because of this (I know this's BAD)

Yeah, okay that one was fake too. But I didn't really "notice" the sky thing because the back dancers were too..... ummm... "disturbing".... (seriously baaaad dance moves!!!!)

I'm pretty sure it was for Sichuan, the exact same charity as Shiawase no Kane was for, but I have no exact sources that come to mind xD.

She probably wanted to give more to the charity since I'm sure Shiawase no Kane sold like... only 2 downloads considering it had no promotion and it was after Hitotsu which hadn't even sold 1,000 copies at the time.
