im VERY surprised...

firstly it's dragonball...and I dun really have a gd impression of it lol
(coz Animax is showing really old-ish wans.. >.<)
but then I realize its a LIVE movie...with that HUGE amount of production cost so I dont think it's gonna be THAT bad...
and yes, Stephen Chow (though I don't watch his movies) but seems like they are hits..

Rule sounds like a super strong title to me...and the lyrics do have the Inspiring feel...like "YOU LIVE YOUR OWN LIFE" kinda thing...

The fact that this movie is gonna be screened WORLDWIDE..is really a huge boost for her...And i like that idea..
I tihnk the last time for this kinda special tie-in was Startin' (which was gd)

I hope Rule is gonna be amazing..and used in the fight scenes hahaha...

something is quite unique coz it says the director CHOSE Ayu...means...the song MIGHT NOT BE written by her regular composers right? (i hope its yuta nakano again though )

wow, another rock song

but, Dragon ball movie?? eww. That movie looks like it would be on the worst movie of 2009 list.

However this would be a moderate hit in Japan. Not so sure about America though lol. Maybe around $30 millions in America lol, the only actor that I know on there is chow yun fat . And Goku is ugly in that movie.

テーマソング「Ｒｕｌｅ」（来年発売）は日本語詞のロックナンバー。全世界タイアップながらも、ウォン監督 の「クールな
日本語がいい」との依頼で、あゆが日本語で作詞。脚本を読んでポジティブな主人公をイメージして書き上げた 。

昨年、初のアジアツアーを成功させるなど海外に視野を向けて着実に活躍の場を広げてきたあゆ。ハリウッド映 画の
テーマソングを歌うのは初めてで「昔から好きだった漫画の１つなので、とても光栄。世界各国でドラゴンボー ルワールドが
愛されることを期待します」と話している。

Wow. I've been saying this pretty much since info about the movie came out but it looks bad. Of course you can't always judge things on appearances. Hm. Good for Ayu though. Now I'm hoping it's not going to be a bad movie otherwise I'll just wait until the movie soundtrack comes out.

But yay promotion for Ayu!

The most recent trailer at dragonballmovieblog.net actually has it looking pretty awesome but I seem to be the only person who thinks this.

The blog is mentioning ayu now as well. Although I wish they hadn't used a 7 1/2 year old picture. o_O

Well now that I think about it it's big, but not THAT big. I'm definitely happy for her that she's able to have global exposure. As for the movie she was picked to tie into with her song...a bad choice. Dragonball looks like an epic fail to me...it won't be detrimental to her career that she tied into it but it won't really help her in terms of the international recognition. Why couldn't she have been picked for Spiderman or something haha.
