Chonchan is a cute nickname that her dancer Zin used in his blog to refer to her. Ever since Ayu herself has been using it. I'm pretty sure that's how it goes...

I'm not sure why he called her "chonchan", my guess is that it's a reference to her hairstyle resembling a topknot ("chonmage") somewhat. Aside from that, honestly, it'd have to be some inside joke they might have about korea. *shrug*

It's funny how many of us are really excited about the possibility of ayu being gay or in a gay relationship. I'm wondering how many here, statistically, identify with the LBGT community. Probably a sizable number.
