There's one thing I never really understood about that scandal. Did she say it seriously, cuz she really believed in it, or was it a joke?

And I also wanted to say: I totally didn't see it coming, but I completely FELL IN LOVE with stay with me o__o it totally bored me when I watched the PV, but after hearing the mp3 in HQ I love it so much. Maybe because ~dramatic~ ballads like that need HQ to sound good... it was the same for me with BoA's be with you.~ anyway, I love the single now, so I'm really happy XD

Sorry! I don't mean to be. Her comment was just really stupid. Hopefully no more stupid comments like that for 2009.

part of me you have been being really negative towards kumi kuu as of late. it seems like you like her one minute then you hate her the next lol. idk why maybe i should stop listening to erik

to apple-pi, she said it as a joke, she didn't mean it seriously (and if i understand correctly they make jokes like that on the radio show all the time) and plus it had been recorded earlier so the producers could have easily editted it out but they saw nothing wrong with it.

i think it's just that kumi was really at the top of the artists, and when you're at the top there will always be people trying to bring you down.

I like her when she isn't making stupid comments or acting stupid. I'm not going to praise her for everything she does. Plus, acknowledging when kumi kuu makes mistakes will help you appreciate the times when she is being cool more.

I would just ignore part of me~ He's negative a lot himself but if someone else makes a comment that he doesn't like, that person is REALLY BAD AND ZOMG etc. Kind of hypocritical.

I thought the body fluid comment was kind of funny actually. I don't see what's wrong with the comment, because it's basically just a biology statement. It's like saying "in Africa children die average around the age of 13!". It's kind of fact, but not a very positive thing to remind everyone of. xD But imo not enough for a WTFSCANDAL. It seems more like the press made it to be that way and brainwashed the audience.

First:part of Me is a SHE.If you paid more attention,maybe you wouldn't make stupid offensive remarks.

Second:You all are taking opinions WAY too seriously,and you should respect other peoples opinions,and the drama would decrease.

Third:Maybe,if you thought a little bit,those are different things.In my opinion,Japan takes stuff way too seriously,even that her comment about pregnant women was funny to you,it bugs other people out.But I agree with you on the biology statements and stuff,sadly.

EDIT:stay with me is growing on me too!I listened to it a lot in this X-mas,it sure brought the Christmas spirit to my house~

lee, i respect melrose, part of me and everyone else who posts here. i just wanted to say that i noticed she kind of flip flops with how she feels about kuu. i didn't say anything negative about her at all and it wasn't intended to start drama..

i haven't been listening to kuu's ballads recently, but i always did like "hands" i think that's another favorite ballad of kuu's.

hands is a beautiful song and probably my favorite "dramatic" ballad! i adore some of her less popular ballads like 月と太陽 and 大切な君へ.

oh dear...

yes, the comment was stupid. yes, it caused a decrease in her popularity. yes, she's dealt with the consequences and will continue to do so. but we should all be thankful that she's still got a good release pattern, is allowed to tour, hold live events, get invited to other events, be in tons of magazines, commercials, and so on.

she still has a great career and it doesn't look like she's stopping anytime soon.
