ayu messed up the beginning of the song and erm, her vocals are pretty much messed up, too...

she started up the beginning of the song earlier than it should be and dancers were pretty much confused and they rushed to where they belong... and i saw a dancer raised his hand up and quickly put them down and i think that he was confused too...

did anyone see that?

yeah, stuff like that happens. it´s the magic of broadcasting live. I don´t think it´s a very big deal. Anyway, I didn´t like that performance much. (you are talking bout Kohaku, right?)

she was singing the first verse, then all those dancers were like rushing to crawl up to the stairs...

if not mistaken, subaru was the one who made mistakes too... he was confused

I think, they don't do the rehearsal. If they do, I think it's just once. Ayu hurts her hand badly. She can't perform like usual. But, I do think that she did the best. About the dancers, I'll watch the vid again.

From time to time she'll mess up. She's not a perfect person. I'm not saying it should be an excuse but she always puts her best effort into everything she does. Sometimes your mind just totally blanks out or maybe she was just out of it and didn't realize before it was too late. I've seen many such perfs from her...it's actually pretty entertaining. Shows you she's just like anyone else and not some perfect star people make her out to be at first glance.

Yeah, I noticed this, too with the music. But all-in-all it was a good performance. At least she didn't stop and go, "OMG I MESSED UP"

While I don't encourage mistakes, every once in a while it's really refreshing to see them. I'm not really shocked at all when any artist messes up a performance or singing of a song. It's just quite amusing and a change of pace for once. Something new. Something along those lines. It's the best when she messed up and she's apologizing with her hand and goes: "GOMEN!"

Also, can't forget the infamous Trauma performance: "I forgot the words". ROFL. And Voyage...the reaction afterwards; just priceless haha.

I was once a stage performer, so i understand the importance of staying calm when making a mistake.

Oh, now I got it too! I was looking only at Ayu, so I didn't noticed dancers. lol

She's singing LIVE (while so many artists nowadays are using lip-synching) and after surgery operation, with deaf ear. Minor things like this is not a big deal for me. It makes performances more unique.

I think her performance is good enough. Well, it's kinda a surprise for me when I noticed the mistake. But she's always our Ayu..........

Haha holy crap how did you find out it was July 1st? I hope you didn't go through all your TV lives to find it man...it wasn't my intention to make it a guessing game. My bad. She basically messed up the chorus part. It was suppose to be "...ano umi e yukou" and she sang the "kimi ni ai ni yukou" part but she caught herself probably after she heard the backing vocal was off so it came out as: "kimi ni umi e yukou" or something. Really funny haha.

I thought her vocals for kouhaku were fine, sh'es been much worse before (her ballads), it was a real kickstart performance.

Lololol yeah it's stuff like that I really enjoy seeing. It's like...she messed up, so what? I think what counts is what you do in those situations. She handles herself very well I'd say.

There was a chance the performance wasn't going to happen after Ayu's wrist injury. Both her and the dancers probably didn't get to rehearse much if at all.

It's nice to see she makes mistakes from time to time, she's not perfect (plus her reactions are usually pretty funny )

the opening of this song has been altered so many times in differnet performances and in different versons. It is really difficult to choose where to kick in as the background music is basically the same in the first verse...

I am more pissed the fact the dress is not pulled at the right time - the breaking glass sound. and she didn't do that "look"

i like this performance tho. best kouhaku after moments.
