Is anyone pre-ordering the Ayumi single? I might, but I want to hear the full song first, lol.

depends since I know the local HMV will import the CD only from Japan . Not sure for the CD + DVD but they did it for Kiseki as the DVD was region free .

I think like yourself I have to see whether the single is good or not , well the whole package be it A & B-side

Ai Uta & Kiseki both came in #3 & #1 respectively in the CDTV Premier Live 2009 - Karaoke Top 10 Ranking

Do you think they will be able to end Kinki Kids' consecutive #1 hits? (27 in total).
Their single is being released on the same day. I would be sad if GReeeeN got a #2 position, or lower position.

I don't know it's hard to say although I have a feeling that GReeeeN might not be able to do so cos you know it's KinKi Kids man

& it's not just KK , for every single/album that a JE band puts out , it's quite a shoo in for them to get the top spot unlike some JE bands that I know that're not that 'dangerous' like V6 , Tackey & Tsubasa cos both bands's works are produced by avex trax

but it will be interesting if GReeeeN will be able to break KK's #1 streak but having said that I love the live performance of Yakusoku

in which the duo did it at the recent Johnny's Countdown 2008-2009

ayumi is okay, but kinda slow for me. but it sounds really cool and better than tobira.

The song's nice ! It's classic GReeeeN basically & very karaoke friendly like their previous hits

They frankly never fail to disappoint me imo

The opening intro & the music which features a violin adds a nice touch to Ayumi

On the topic of GReeeeN's #2 hits: (Ai Uta, Tobira). KAT-TUN held off Tobira from the #1 position, but I'm just curious which artist held off Ai Uta from #1. Does anyone know?

I'm not very sure about that but I do know for their collaboration with BACK ON which was Ashiato , they debuted at #7 & it was released on the same day as NEWS's Happy Birthday

so this will be the 3rd time that they're going up against another JE band in Ayumi's case

Universal sure has some guts to do that
