I think the poor girl should be allowed to get abit chubby

She is in amazing shape atm but I doubt she's had much time to eat considering how busy she's been. She really needs to start looking after herself.

Well, when you gain a bit of weight, your face changes.
She maybe gained 5 kilos?
Before, her face had no fat in it~
But now she does.

And about the baggy eye thing~
Yeah, I had really bad baggy eyes when I was young..
But when I got a bit older, then started to disappear,
And now they are gone, no one can tell~ ahaha
So I think there was no surgery at all for that.
I dont think she had surgery anyways..
Except for teeth.

I still see bags under her eyes. They're more noticeable in some lives more than others (of course, not in magazines due to good airbrushing...)

Her face does look fuller, which I think is a combination of makeup changes (there's a way to highlight and darken the contours of the face to make it appear less round) and weight gain. Granted, some people says that apparently a fuller face once people gets older actually can make people look younger, as opposed to the haggard cheekbone-y look...

Well she may not have had surgery on her eyes for the bags but her eyes are 100% the result of surgery!

Yeah, lighting, makeup, hair style, clothing, and even the shape of the eyebrow changes the outside perception to their age. I think Ayu's facial structure certainly helps the makeup process, and it helps that she has the facial structure to wear heavier makeup.

And since she has a team of professional makeup artist, I'm pretty sure she'll get better results and greater changes than the average joe (what's the female version of that?

)

I wonder if she uses mineral makeup or not, because I have heard great things about mineral foundation do for de-agin...

Her look recently has all looked the same. I was shocked at first when I seen her hair short back in Talkin 2 Myself but I really liked it once I saw the video for (don't) Leave Me Alone. I loved her hair in that

i've been thinkin the same thing... her skin does seem kinda saggy :O her tanness adds to it.. (is she even tan?) to me, i think her skin seems kinda..loose.. maybe she did gain a little weight?

Umm, no. What I know is that her eyes aren't products of surgery, it's only her teeth and her nose..
About the bags under her eyes,, weren't those happening because she's lacking of sleep??? Because when I didn't get much sleep for many days, my eyes would be baggy,, and they're awful..

Her body changes quickly,, from getting chubbier and then skinnier,, but that's normal, right?? She's not one of those models in Madrid..

I didn't really notice the nose too, but,, some people said it is,, (and I'm still at the 50:50 phase of agree/not agree about that too)
There are many rumors about ayu's surgeries,, even about her having abdomen surgeries (which is very impossible, abdomen surgey? no,,)

absolutely.

well, i do see her look has changed, but it's not smth physical, actually. in the PCDL i realized she was really really pretty, astonishing, and that shine in the eyes or in the face means without a doubt, for me at least, that she is in LOVE.

i don't care about her weight. it's smth you can perceive in another way...

Well I think she just aged over the years. Bout her eyes, its naturally big, can see that from her childhood pix and also her younger days' pix. But most of her faces you see in mags, CD covers and stuff are photoshoped to make her eyes bigger.

Even before she was the superstar Ayumi Hamasaki,
Her eyes were the same shape and size.
She didnt wear the heavy makeup on her eyes that she does now, so it looks different.
But you can see pictures when she doesnt have makeup on that she looks the same.
And.. so what if her eyes are big?
Should all Japanese eyes be small??? I dont understand..

My mistake then haha i actually always though they were natural but SOO many sites say they are fake since they are big/have the bifold. they also look like Koda Kumi's eyes who has admitted to eye surgery.

I seriously think it's the make up! Because I've seen a few Jrockers do it as well. Mostly V-Kei bands, their eyes look HUGE and then without it, they look soooooo small xD;.

Haha I'm of the same opinion about her eyes with maikaru. I think this was really elaborated upon in a separate thread. Her eyes are very much natural; they are just enhanced by what she's wearing etc. It's not in the eyes that I'm noticing any differences though. Something about her cheeks maybe haha.

Well thats actually really good to know that Ayu's eyes are natural.

I hate rumours that people have been spreading-really thought it was fact!
But Kuu definitely has, she admitted it in an interview.

One site said AYu did too admit it but i can't confirm that one.
Thing is its not just that the eye gets bigger with surgery, but they get a double eyelid instead of a one fold.
One site says Kuu admitted to getting them bigger and the double lid and that Ayu only got the end of her eyes clipped to make them wider. of course could be rumour.
