Or they've given up hope.

But, even at these odds a top 10 isn't impossible. She has the single sales to sort of think that her debut album will be a little more successful. Plus, maybe the fans she's picked up are people who generally only buy albums.

I hope so! Her music is really good! But I think the album is expensive because they're not sure how well it will do and they want to get as much money from it as possible!

^^....which, in my opinion,was a ridiculous move. If you really want people to try out an artist like alan, the album should at least be at a reasonable price. No one (unless they're super rich people who like to waste money) would want to pick up her album and try her music out if it has a price like THAT.

Well, I guess if the covers are super amazing, maybe some people just might try her out. Who knows?

Wow, there is definitely a lot of competition for alan on March 4th. Especially if it's up against Hikki. She's a strong seller.

Sony promoted Yuna outside of major areas of Tokyo and Shibuya or at least that's what I've read.

I still don't understand why she hasn't been to major music shows like Music Station, HEY x3, CDTV and Utaban yet. Is her Japanese not strong enough or something? Cause those kinds of music shows are amazing promo.

With the way avex is handling Maki goto's career too...I dunno what they are doing with their new artists

I didn't know she was never on any of those shows! That would explain the lack of TV lives! My gosh, they could hire her a translator, they do it for other foreign celebrities...

Doesn't Johnny's have a stronghold on Music Station? It's like the reason why Tohoshinki has never been on?
Lately, to me avex doesn't care unless you're one of their money makers. I know Leah didn't know Japanese when she first appeared on TV and they had a translator for her so I don't see why avex won't do that.
Their attitude is "they weren't getting recongized before, what will make it change now?'.
