Nope! Like others have said I listen to sad songs when I'm sad. I especially listen to sad songs that make me cry because it helps me get everything I'm feeling out of my system.

Same here. Whenever I'm sad because of something that happened with someone or something -- something not because I'm bored or just randomly feeling sad one day -- I mostly listen to sad songs that I can relate to.

But then after I get everything out of my system (because of the song or otherwise), I listen to happy, inspiration songs like Keep Tryin' or MY ALL or INSPIRE to basically reinforce in myself that even though I may fall, I can get up again.

So in a way, happy songs and sad songs complement themselves
