tomomi kahala was rushed to the hospital on 17/1/2009 because of drug (medicine) poisoning. According to Japanese media reports, she was taking a taxi at around 3am. the driver saw her wasnt in a good condition and sent her to a police station nearby. when she was asked about her body condition, she said weakly, that she was told by the doctor to take some drugs. she was rushed to the hospital immidiately. media doubt if she had taken too much mental problem drugs. even though she was told by the doctor to take it, but the media doubt if she had taken too much of it.

She was extremely famous in Japan during the mid-late 90s. She sold huge amounts. She was one of Tetsuya Komuro's protege's and his girlfriend for a time but she has a lot of personal problems as well.

She was supposed to make a comeback this year too ugh. Ever since her relationship ended with TK she hasn't been the same I really hope she is okay.

It depends...she could have either attempted a suicide, or she was feeling so bad that she felt like if she took more medication, she'd get better from her symptoms. The articles weren't so clear on that, though it seems likely that she tried to suicide.
