Well at the time CAN YOU CELEBRATE? was released like every single person in Japan that got married at the time could really connect with the lyrics. Also when Namie's marriage was announced later that year it just made the song so much more ~sentimental~ I suppose. It's basically the ultimate JP marriage song so I can see why it still ranks on these polls after all these years.

totally!!! anything with namie will look better than the original, but if you try to put her face on odin...that might be a little awkward
