I really dunno how it will go. Dragonball was huge in asia (or more precisely Japan, HK, Taiwan) a LONG time ago, I dunno if it's still considered huge in those places anymore as I dun live there. Even if this statement is true, it doesn't mean people will go to see the live action (especially when people think it sucks).

I really hate this kinda situation... A single's sales is practically driven by the hype of the movie. If the movie is good, the sales will technically doing fine. If not, well we just hope the hardcore fans will buy all three copies... .

overall yes~ I'm quite pessimistic. I do love the songs, but not much has been done to promote it, and we have the B&D/(m)u factor as well.

I think this will sell craptastic for many reasons. my expectations are around the sales of talkin' 2 myself (which isn't really bad either considering the standard today).

It's obvious it won't do amazing in sales (though if it will pass 100,000 in total it will be amazing for a single that is being released a month before the album, especially with no TV or magazines promotion).
I just hope it will get #1.
The single is great and it highly deserves it.

Even if they don't they had the Lumix CM and NEXT LEVEL is available digitally as ringtones, but I think the biggest problem is that they don't even know about Rule/Sparkle at least the majority from what SunshineSlayer told us. I guess we'll know soon enough, even though we've learned that we shouldn't judge the single by it's first day sales

Hm, I forgot the song NEXT LEVEL. @_@ Though it doesn't have to affect sales. Sparkle CM was out months before the actual single.

Most CM songs are actually release before the songs are available on physical CDs. The thing I'm wondering about now, though, is if NEXT LEVEL will be "changed" or modified.. since that's what usually happens to CM songs. But omg noooo NEXT LEVEL sounds great in the CM; I don't want it modified!

Ayu is really on tight schedule now, with tour plans and hopefully album promotion, I doubt there will be time to "modify" the songs, plus it only kinda happen twice with GREEN and Sparkle and as far as my opinion goes, it's barely notable.

I think this single is going to sell fairly low. Next to promotion at all :/
Not even a magazine cover atm, which isn't good -__-
Shame, because I think this is a fairly solid single.
