The weekly Oricon sales for single & albums have been updated via http://www.oricon.co.jp/rank/js/w/ & http://www.oricon.co.jp/rank/ja/

a HUGE congrats to ARASHI who surpassed Truth/Kaze no Mukō e's first week record of 467,288 as well as the first to break half a million in its opening week since KAT-TUN's "Real Face" of 754,000 in April 2006.

It officially has the highest 1st week sales of 2009, making Believe/Kumori Nochi, Kaisei the best selling single of the year at this point in time .

I already said a few posts back in that Oricon counts sales during a fixed period from last year Dec til this year Dec

So from Dec '08 onwards til now , EXILE BALLAD BEST has sold 769,357 even though by right its totally tally's 1,713,258 now

that's because This Is The One was released on Sat in Japan which's not a normal release date when comes to new releases in Japan since it's usually Wed

maybe sales will pick up when Wed comes by ? although ya the sales are quite
