LOVE 'n' HATE-Pieces of SEVEN-Days

Nope, this is not a thread on how Pieces of SEVEN fails as in interlude.

I don't know if anyone feels like this, but I feel these 3 songs are connected.

For one, do you realize LOVE 'n' HATE and Days are very similar? They both talk about the feelings faced when you have a crush! But LOVE 'n' HATE is the more sexy/edgy outlook to it, while Days is the more demure and tamed outlook.

Some comparison...

"I knew from the start
That it's really impossible
Even so ..."

LOVE 'n' HATE

vs

"I've known for a long time that you have someone precious
Because it's clear from your smile"

Days

Also, another thing to note is this:

"I only wanted to dream
That my dream would come true
Just for a moment"

LOVE 'n' HATE

Yeah, a dream. And what happens in the Days PV? She dreams~

Well, I think both songs are having a crush on someone who already is attached or something. I might even go to the extent of saying she might have a crush on someone gay (yeah let's bring the ayuxshu-ya fanshipping to it ultimate!

)... impossible crush?

Now, that's not the main point. I just think LOVE 'n' HATE and Days are mirrors of each other. They both talk about the same thing, but in very different perspectives. It's like STEP you Ayu #2 and STEP you Ayu #3, if you get what I mean...

Now, how does Pieces of SEVEN connect these two?

Remember that in LOVE 'n' HATE, she sings about counting in the heart... "1 2 3 4 5 6 7 0", she counted 7 times (not 8, cos at the 8th beat, she sings 0 instead)... SEVEN much.

Also, in the Days PV, when Ayu was in her 'dream' with Shu-ya, she woke up at 6am. When she was in 'reality', she woke up at 8 01am. Disregarding that one minute, we can say that the times were 6am and 8am respectively.

So what's the number in between? SEVEN.

I seriously now think that Pieces of SEVEN is a good connection between LOVE 'n' HATE and Days. Lol... pardon me for this, but I can't help it when my favorite album track, favorite interlude and favorite single song/song in general is lined up after one another!

I also think they're connected. Especially "LOVE'n'HATE" and "Pieces of SEVEN". Because I think that maybe "7" refers to her former relationship with Nagase.
As for "Days", I think it was written for someone else. But also a past love.

My gaydar tells me Gomi is gay BUT this is such a taboo topic lol... actually, as long as none of these dancers have publicly announced it (through Ayu, or their blogs), I'll just er... not think too much about it.

and

you don't need to be gay to see that Go-mi is 100% gay

with the other dancers you never know, they might all be streight or gay, no way to tell, but with Go-mi it's clear like the day

Homosexuality is not a bad thing. I love gay people and all, but Gomi is just totally gay. Period.

I like your theory about Pieces of SEVEN. It makes a lot of sense.

That is a good point, but it doesn't make Pieces of SEVEN work as an interlude :3

I did notice that LOVE'n'HATE and Days were pretty similar lyrically, Days had a more light look to it, while LOVE'n'HATE was like... Days "Emo for you mix"

would the "SEVEN" refer to something ayu can't get (like shuya in Days pv) but she desperately wants it? I think she's not talking about issues in "somebody is gay"
