at at08 her cutesy voice was worst than normal 'cause she was sick...
maybe it will not be that bad this time^^

oh God xD I don't wanna search this now... but she was sick at Taipei stop (the recorded one), Depend on you wasn't as high at the TV news reports either

Actually it wasn't because she was sick. I was at one of the Tokyo shows and she used the same kind of cutesy voice. It seemed obvious that it was intentional and not how her voice would sound had she sung it naturally. I remember being disappointed because I was looking forward to hearing that song live for the first time and then throughout the performance thinking 'what the heck is she doing with her voice?' It kinda ruined the song imo.

I think the economy is having somewhat of an effect - I think a lot of people in the past saw her multiple times on a tour and this time are not doing that. However it seems that other artists on tour right now are still having their tickets pretty sought after. It's weird. I'm not sure what the point of avex adding extra dates was - it definitely wasn't something that was necessary. I can only guess that the initial tickets did sell out for the earlier dates but then more people than usual simply decided not to go and put their tickets up for resale. This brings up the "is it because of Next Level?" question. I at least read from Teth on JPM that he had heard or several people giving up their tickets because they didn't like the album. Another explanation is that the reseller shops (and the record companies themselves sometimes) thought the tickets would be in more demand than they were, bought a bunch of tickets themselves for sale on the resale market only to learn that the tickets weren't selling this time around. That doesn't explain however why eplus (official ticket vendor, not reseller) said they had more tickets for 4/11 and 4/12 just days before the show though.

I dont mind the evry now and then lipsynching either at all. I just HATE the sound on AT07, makes everything seem lipsung when it isn't. thats why '08 is so refreshing.

Andrenekoi, i watched her AT08 at Shanghai..and she didn't sick at all..
she actually did the cutesy voice on DoY which I don't really like.. which sounded the same like in Taiwan stop~
I prefer her to sing normally~

the normal cutesy way, not to make it tooo cutesy~
and it's really not good to hear her strain her voice again in AT09... hmm.. where EnergizE on CD was not that sung toooooo cutesy~~
she sounded great in HONEY at AT05..why just she didn't like that...

Calicoo, tell us more..whether she sounded too cutesy like in AT08's DoY or not..

I'm pretty sure (at least talking about dvds) that she never used a "cutesy voice" like the DoY one before... o.o It eas a very strange voice

Yes she has. The only difference is that shes doing a cutesy voice, with her new deeper voice. Like her voice has change, so when she does a highpitched voice, it still is lower than her previous high pitch cutsy voices.

No, is not only this... this time her cutesy voice was strange... mainly in the begining of the song, the first 3 or 4 verses... them it got better

Maybe because she was going off pitch because of her half deafness. i'm not sure...

I wonder if the negative reviews have been affecting ticket sales.

Andrenekoi, yea righte.. her cutesy voice is sooooooo weird.. not sounded like on HONEY..i mean in CD version of DoY, her voice is not sounded soo cutesy, it's normal and nice to hear..but when she sang live.. O_O i was so shocked!
if it's sounded like HONEY at AT05..that's much better

gotta ask Chibishun for more details of her voice in this AT09 for sure...

and i don't think avex would just decide to have the longest tour for Ayu this year if the tour is not demanded... because from what i think, more additional tours, mean more demand of the tour..
haha though we can't make sure if all the concerts will be full house or not..hmmm..
i think we should just enjoy what Ayu offers to us for her concert

ah anyway, according to Chibishun, on the 2nd day of the tour, it was a full house

just my two cents hahaha <3

It is a direct reflection of how in demand something is though. Not sure how it can be seen any other way.

Just the fact that people decided that they would rather not see the concert shows a fundamental lack of interest/demand. And then the fact that the resale shops are having a hard time selling the tickets back to the public demonstrates that even more so.
