Quality of NEXT LEVEL PVs from usb and dvd

Recently I watching all video clips of NEXT LEVEL's album from the usb version, and I found out the quality is like a bit lower compared from the PV's from the dvd. I was at 1st thinking of copy the PV's to replace those that I already had in my laptop, but now decided not to after watching and compare them.

So issit really the quality of the PV's from the usb is slightly lower than from the dvd?

Sorry if this has been discussed before..

I can imagine the quality is lower because a DVD can store more information than the rather basic USB stick.

the format is different, the pvs on the USB are in MPEG4 and less then 80mbs, while the file size on the DVD per clip is at least 300mbs

i don't think 2GB is enough for both AVI and MPEG file format.
i believe MP4 file format is the smallest size yet better quality if compare to AVI.

^Well they used Apple standart for dvd quality, but it's really awfull! Next Level PV is noisy every where and I personally can't watch it. PVs on original DVD are much better!!!

avi wil take up more space for the same resolution, and i think they want to make it user friendly, so everyone can just put into mp4 players

Well, the quality of EVERYTHING on the USB is horrible, the music is in mp3 o.0, they needed to make it 4 GB to fit everything on it in good quality. but I guess a 4 GB USB would have been the double price, it's avex, after all.

hmm, thats not a good news...since we paid so much for the usb,but the quality isn't that good..well,i believe its acceptable but,hmm....the price that the buyer paid is like buying the design of the pendrive and not the quality of the product...
i'm not ranting...but seems like its not suitable for those who prefer better quality for the videos

well music quality is usual for mp3 listeners, the USB itself doesn't look cheap and it's not cheap!! It's very good device, but PVs it's like a bonus so just don't mind bad quality there^^

Quality of PVs not Avex fault, it's Apple fault coz by Apple's standarts that is dvd quality

yes I noticed that when watching them. I just watch the DVD instead, and keep the USB for material value

I hardly find that to be true. USB drives can have as much as 128 GB of memory. A double-sided, double-layer DVD can hold only 16 GB.

But I don't own both the DVD & USB, so I can't really compare... I could only afford the USB, and I never bothered to buy the other versions afterwards. I think I'm good with the USB vids, though. But, that's rather interesting, that the quality is better on the DVDs.

Yeah. Like you said earlier, the price would be insane if they used a higher storage USB. But the mp3s and vid, if I'm not mistaken, only used, like, 800 MB (.8 GB), so I don't know why they couldn't have made them more high quality. Maybe they wanted to leave availible storage space? But for $75 USD, I could get an new 32 GB USB. It doesn't really make sense. Maybe it has something to do with the mass production of the files?

i believe they leave some space in the USB thumbdrive so that you can store documents in it and use like a regular thumbdrive. that was what they said during the news and description at sites

Yeah. But I said the rather basic USB drive in reference to the low memory of the NEXT LEVEL USB. I'm quite aware that there's USBs that have a lot more GB, but the NEXT LEVEL one is very basic.
