I need to vent because if I don't let this out well... Michael he... If it weren't for Michael I wouldn't know some of my best friends that I have today. I remember seeing him on tv for the first time when I was younger, when I actully knew that it was him. I'd heard my folks talk of Michael Jackson before that but I had never put it together. It was the 30th anniversary concert. My cousin and I almost always had it on after that, dancing to Jackson Five songs in the living room for months after it aired. His music helped though various hard times. He said a lot of intelligent things. He inspired me. I remember when I first saw him I thought wow! He could dance, sing and he could draw pretty good too. He was a humanitarian. I've been crying since I first heard the news. I had to try and suck it up for my newphews graduation but after that I started crying again. I can't look at him, or listen. You Rock My World just played on BET and my crying became sobs. My head hurts, my throat hurts, it feels like someone knocked the wind out of me. I want to scream until I can no longer. His poor family... He was Michael Jackson. He was supposed to outlive everyone else. Why go like that? I never got to say thank you. Last edited by Amrai-chan; 30th December 2009 at 03:11 AM.

This is the most heart shattering news I've heard in a while.
I feel so emotionally drained from crying about it. I've been listening to his songs for most of the morning, and I just can't believe he's dead. You know what's really sick though? The amount of ignorant minds making sick jokes about it. I can't describe how much that angers me.

At first, I don't believe it because no wonder an icon of music industry would end up like this: very sudden. And I believe this is the darkest day for the music industry of America today.

To see a man who you've idolized since you were very young, a man with such strong presence and incredible talent leave this earth.. it's just extremely heartbreaking. The world hasn't just lost a genius of song and dance, but we've lost a relentlessly compassionate and pure-spirited human being.
He pushed all the boundaries in music. Pop stars have been following his model and will continue to follow his model until the world ends. Expensive music videos, extravagant stage shows, choreographed group dancing - they all trace back to MJ. It may sound a bit corny, but I think the main reason why I feel such a tight pain in my chest right now is because I don't think many people living now can match the genuine goodness he had in his heart. This was a man who didn't just give a lot of money to charity, but visited many terminally-ill children just to try and cheer them up. While he's known for a lot of his upbeat dance numbers, a lot of people forget songs like Earth Song, Man in the Mirror, and Heal the World - the man really did care about our planet. I wish I was that decent of a human being. Much like the deaths of Elvis, Kennedy, Lennon, and Princess Diana, I don't think people will forget the moment they first heard the news. For my generation at least, it's the day music died. Unfortunately, I don't think there will ever be another extraordinary pop superstar like Michael Jackson, at least not while I'm alive. The world will never see a success like Thriller again. EVER. A legend, visionary, and humanitarian. Rest in peace, Michael.

When my little Sister came into my bedroom this morning and said "Michael Jackson died" I truly didn't believe her because I really didn't see it coming. It was such a shock. Then my Mom came into the room and said it was on the news, he died of a cardiac arrest. It's really shocking. He was one of the most amazing pop stars with songs that, I think, will last for centuries. It's very upsetting, but I hope he rests in peace.

I am not a fan of his work...
but without Michael, I would not have any of my favorite pop acts... and Ayu would probably don't even exist the way she does as an artist... So... yeah... everyone in this forum should be at last a little moving.

This is really horrible.. It's like,, a thing that just can't happen. How can he be death? He was on his top, he got all down, and make the classic comeback.. but now this happens. It's making him even more legendary that something so sick happened just at this moment.. IT CAN'T BE!
I've read that there is pics of his corpse on the net, and I think I've found it.. why do people upload things like that? Horrible just to know it is somewhere where everyone can see it o.o

lol SunshineSlayer, that video of SMAP was hilarious. I bet it felt incredible to hear the King of Pop compliment your performance.
But it still makes it even more saddening seeing Michael with a smile on his face and in high spirits just a year ago, and now he's just gone. I'm sure he doesn't want us mourning his death. He damn well knows what a legend he is and will forever be.

I can't believe he died! It's really random! I mean at least with Farah we knew she was dying already from cancer,but Micheal didn't seem to have anything wrong with him! I hope the both of them rest in peace! They made history!
