I didn't listen to him lately but I used to be a big fan when I was younger.
I still can't believe he's gone... I was so shoked when I heard the news on TV

His father and Janet appeared at the BET awards.

Janet said, "to you he was an icon, to us he was family,"

But when they interviewed his dad he didn't seem too sad.

I don't think he and his father ever had a good relationship, especially since his dad beat the crap out of him and verbally abused him to no end when he was a child. Didn't his dad say he wanted to keep releasing Michael's music? My dad was probably right when he said alls Michael's dad wants is money.

On CNN after that one interview they showed that one reporter going up to Joe to clarify some things. If I heard right Joe said something like "Some people cry with tears but I'm crying inside outside I'm strong." Or something like that. It probably hasn't hit him yet. I know when someone I love had died the next day I had been smiling and laughing but deep down...it didn't really hit me until the funeral maybe it's that way with him.

He comes from a time where showing emotion is a sign of weakness.

Joe isn't behaving any differently than he always has. All of the siblings have said Joe is unemotional and distant. That is why they call him Joseph instead of dad or father.

The record label promotion was a bit odd though but grief affects people in different ways and sometimes people just start talking about differnt things.

Someone else should speak for the family though because it doesn't look good to people.

And I wish I could give Janet a hug. Poor dear. Michael and her were very close.

I was in total shock when I heard this news and funny thing is my buddy text me while I was in my convocation for college and thought...this is one bad joke to make especially since he said it was from the radio...
got home and found out it is really happening...this is a lost ..

I watched Scream last night.

Michael and Janet seemed so close to eachother. They must have loved eachother so much, it must be really hard for her.
