Hey, there's no reason why it's not true! Have any Japanese speakers read hamlet in Japanese? How does the translation go in that version? I had always thought that the title referred to Ayu speaking "as all women" in the world.

I like how the Hamlet phrase is the opposite of what mnW is all about

lol, you should have seen some of the stuff I scribbled in my books in high school

That's a pretty cool theory. And it could work.

Since the line from Shakespeare is from a male's perspective, it makes sense that Ayu, a woman, would reply to it as "my name's WOMEN"! It'd be really cool if that was actually why she titled it like that. Oh, I wish we knew for sure...
