They slightly help. When I was in Japan, I constantly saw CMs for both music.jp and MUSICO, so if you hear a song so many times, you might end up liking it and buying it.

decision had music.jp tie-in and t2m had panasonic and the single still did just decent-.

It looks like they're finishing up work on the covers judging by Ayu's latest TeamAyu entry!

We should look forward to them at the end of the week perhaps..

That's not quite right, rock bands such as L'arc en Ciel and B'z have been popular and famous for ages and there are more of course. Japan has nothing against rock It was just that the whole talkin' 2 myself single wasn't exactly their piece of cake I guess.

yes, they do. Even though they combine it with pop, I know they had a couple of hard rock albums too.

Oh okay, I don't know why I thought they didn't like rock as much. I'm conscious of B'z and L'arc en Ciel etc. but for some reason I didn't really consider them I guess. Thank you for clearing it up

you hate rock but like ayu? most of her songs are guitar driven. I would always assume ayu fans would at least like pop/rock?

^ I don't hate rock at all O_O;;; In fact, I listen to more J-rock than J-pop LOL. I was just unsure if Japan disliked rock a lot and thus the reason for Talkin' 2 myself / decision's poor sales, but I was wrong lol.
