Question What's the difference between 320kbps and FLAC?

What's the difference between 320kbps and FLAC?
Sound wise, which one is better (richer, fuller, sharper,etc.).
I'd like to know, since I'm trying to update the quality of my Ayu collection!

Does anyone have examples? If not, that's fine~

for example.. INSPIRE (ayu):
INSPIRE in MP3 = 320 kbps and 10,7 MB
(lower quality)
INSPIRE in FLAC = 1101 kbps and 36,4 MB (full quality)

320 kbps is the maximum quality of MP3 (320 kilobits per second)

1000 kbps is like the standard quality of FLAC

MP3 files deletes part of the song in order to make the file smaller than FLAC

FLAC files doesn't delete part of the song so it's equivalent to CD quality

I convert FLAC files to ALAC so they can be played on iTunes and iPod

I'm on a Mac and I convert 'em with XLD

Also you can rip songs from CD to ALAC using iTunes (ALAC = Apple Lossless Audio Codec)

FLAC can't be added to iTunes but you can get the same quality by decoding it to WAV and then using itunes to encode it to Apple Lossless.

Since you're going from lossless (FLAC) to lossless (WAV) to lossless (Apple Lossless) you aren't losing any quality.
