i find it kinda short to be a good review
it's like he listened to it once and wrote it all in 15 minutes

lol, I don't know why so many complaints about the review when it was overall favorable and gave 4/5 stars. Its also obvious that the writer only had a limited amount that he was allowed to write in order to fit the layout so they obviously aren't going to talk in detail about every aspect of the album, just the aspects that stood out the most to that person.

Yeah but it was still poorly written

I guess it's no big deal, the album's been out for ages. Most people probably heard it by now. That review sure won't get any new listeners though xP

lol it's not a great review but i hate when reviews are super long and people judge every single part of every song. so it's okay.

it's not that bad, i mean he/she gave it a high rating. it's just that he/she didn't really pay much attention to the album overall...

We had such a nice time. We started dating in t2m PV, took it slow you know, let our love grow. Then it got really serious in 2008. Then after AT2009 we moved in together. It was lovely. Then on AT2010 he asked me to marry him. He was such a sweet. And Ayu gave us our blessings. She was also such a sweet. Now me and Maro are such a sweets together. Aaaw, how time flies.

I disagree. I personally think NEXT LEVEL, specially the very first songs commented there, have clearly a video game music influence. I'm a fan of video games and NEXT LEVEL actually called my attention in that same aspect, because I thought some of the songs had a mix of 80's disco club songs + video game influence. It made me even wonder if in Japan, they've been creating a new sound to electronic music by adding video game like music samples and effects. For the example, "rollin' " starts playing a 8-bit console sound (NES) that I'm sure most people who have played that video game noticed that very peculiar sound to that song.

The review is short and a little too personal, but it wasn't that bad imo. NEXT LEVEL does get a bit repetitive on its themes anyways, so I don't think it was really a bad thing that the guy compalined about that.

Do they give high reviews so that people won't be offended?

It's really annoying tbph. I've seen it done in another Singoporean mag too and it's like, woah wth.

honestly I will not be surprised if that's done so , Sabrina

it's like they do it for the sake of doing it which annoys me

The influence even made it into the tour... Every report comented the Mario Bros part...

wow, pretty bad review, 6 very similar songs IMO doesn't really feel right, i cant find 6 similar songs on that album xD maybe 3 + interlude
and Rule as strongest song? pretty much is the weakest song of that album for me and i totally love every rock song out there xD but Rule lacks...something, just like 1 LOVE, its just very boring.
