for example: in the first day, the cd store sold a total of 1000 cds, and ayu's S/S sales took up 11% of it. that's how they work.
in taiwan, they do not tell u the exact copies sold, just rounded up digits like 8000, 12000, 15000, 20000....
that is a negative part about TW's charts, there are times when a record companies 'buy chart', what happens is they actually send representives from their company to buy a lot of their artist's release items so that they can hit number 1 on the chart, to seek for attention for people to buy the cds, coz it's more cool buying a number 1 cd then a number 10 cd....but i hate this way of marketing, the sales aren't real anymore....
