Rediscovering albums/growers

Any albums that you had, that were collecting dust and you felt like you wasted money on a crap but then quite a lot of time later you realized the album is actually pretty good?

I bought Christina Aguilera's Back To Basics 2 years ago....only songs I really liked were "Back In The Day" and "Candyman". Such a waste of money...I kept wondering why the heck I wasted my money on that piece of crap. I tried listening to most songs a few times and they never grew on me. However, recently I bought Keeps Gettin' Better and Stripped, and started listening a little more to her, and now, listening to Back To Basics, I'm actually loving a lot of songs on it, specially almost all the songs in Disc 2, which I used to ignore the most. I actually find it to be a pretty good album now! I can't stop listening to it, singing (and screaming) along to some of its songs LOL

I didn't buy Koda Kumi's TRICK album, however the first time I listened to it, I thought it was full of crap. Most songs sounded bad. But most of the songs slowly grew on me through the months. Now it's definitely a very good album in my opinion, I really love it.

Did this happened to any albums to you recently?

i'm like you sometimes i buy albums and then regret it so much, until several years later. one example is nelly furtado's "folklore" album, i got it when it was first released but didnt really like it until 3 years later.

the most recent rediscovery for me would be Katharine McPhee's debut album!

^ same happened for me for Folklore! Its such an amazing album(by far her best IMO) but at first I disliked it and preferred Loose over it, but now I think Loose is pretty much the crappiest album I own and I love Folklore xD(and I'm happy that Mi Plan goes in that direction a little, though that album isn't half as good as Folklore)

. I liked Nelly's albums on 1st listen. 'Folklore' is my fav though. Mostly 4 Fresh Off the Boat and One-Trick Pony. Albums which had to grow on me:
Erm...Body Language~Kylie Minogue
A Night At The Opera~Queen (One of my fav albums now, I used to hate it apart from Death On Two Legs (Dedicated To...)

^ I actually think that Fresh Off the Boat belongs to the worst tracks on that album, One Trick Pony, Try, Explode and Powerless are amazing, I love them so much xD

LOL! I love nelly's albums on first listen! *huge nelly fan * but yes! Folklore is a masterpiece!

anyway, for me it must be No Doubt's Return of Saturn album.
i never disliked this album or anything, but i never really cared for it either.
but this album is actually amazing, i love all tracks on it.
