About Fairyland lyrics...

Hi you all! I have a question and I hope you can help me. Well, I was reading Fairyland's lyrics the other day, it wasn't the first time I read that lyrics, but suddenly, when I arrived to the last phrases I got confused because of this:

In the closest place to forever

(Traslation by masa)

In the closest place to forever.... The closest place.... OF WHAT!? What means this phrase? We are now in the closest places to forever... I don't get it U_U.

And then, in the same topic of the traslation, there's another traslation (not by masa), by devilayu, and her lyrics are almost completely diferent o_o . I know that each one can interpretate it in many different ways... But it ends so different:

I want you to tell me about your happiness now
Now and forever, we are in different places

Closest place, different places? Ouh, I'm so confused lol.

So, what it means!?

hm, it seems one of them must be wrong...? i always go for masa's lyrics though, he seems to be right all the time.

I don't see just what is hard to understand from masa's translation, makes perfectly sense to me

anyway, the masa translation is the right one, the devilayu one isn't even remotely similar to the japanese lyrics xD

I guess what she's trying to say is "they" are as close as they can get to be together forever, being with each other for eternity. Because who ever she's talking about has shown her so much love and happiness, she hopes they can continue this way forever.

I wouldn't say forever means heaven or an afterlife, but she's saying they're the closest to being (together) forever.
Masa's is right though.
