No it's not "in" to bring her down. I sigh every time I post some negative comment because I really love her so. In any case, I agree with another user that is definitely better than the Sunrise covers, and it's really beautiful, just that it doesn't look like her.

And I agree with your 2nd paragraph... I see Kazuyoshi literally everywhere in avex now lol

I'll never get it why artists ( not only Ayu) take close ups for their calendars.
Calendars are bigger and of better quality than magazines for example, so it's better to make body shots with gorgeous backgrounds, especially for the cover.

The cover isn't that bad (except her expression), but it's a close up and of course they photoshop Ayu to death again. Body shots = less photoshop. Well, at least for her face.
I'm tired of all these close ups!
I prefer full body shots with background any day.
(her dress was so gorgeous... ;_; )

She does look like Gackt in this picture, but only a little.

I know I'm gonna get shot for this, but she looks like a caramel-haired Peco to me. Her expression is so tired and the color scheme seems awfully familar.
