Hello everyone,
just want to ask,
Did Ayu have 3 consecutive #1 singles on the charts? cos i just wiki YUI,
its says that

well I don't know how Oricon does things but as of now , ayumi has 21 straight no #1's

I don't know how & why Oricon classified YUI in the same wavelength as Yumi Matsutoya and Hikaru Utada & left out ayumi which's weird

but you shouldn't worry over such a thing . It's just a record at the end of the day

records comes & goes . New ones can be set today & anyone can break or make a new one in the future

they left out ayu because ayu isn't emale singer-songwriter,IMO.

Ayu is INDEED singer-songwriter, but not for composer and arranger~

Yumi Matsutoya, Utada Hikaru, and YUI are singer, composer, singer, and also songwriter as far as i know~

Maybe those award are given for those i've mentioned~ o_0

^But she composed a lot of her own consecutive number 1... from M to Unite! (5 singles, 2000-2001) are all by her, and all got 1... Hikki had 4 at first, from Addcted to You to Can you keep a secret? (1999-2001).

Yui had 3, from Summer song to It's All Too Much/Never Say Die, but it started last year o_O

by the way,is the infos on wiki is correct?i mean everyone can change the information by themself

And as for information again if i'm not mistaken...
If those awards were true, about M until UNITE! Ayu were composed the song but as far as i know she didn't arrange them, she just a composer and not as an arranger (If i'm not mistaken, correct me if i wrong)...

so,YUI ,utada and yumi isn't an arranger right.
they also compose and write the songs but not arranger.am i right?please correct me if i'm wrong

Utada arranges songs... Still, on her first albums she didn't arranged very much, and most of the time she co-arrange the songs, and she usually doesn't arrange alone her singles

Don't worry, I saw that line too while researching information on new singles with my boyfriend xD I was confused too; but on Wikipedia I tend to let things like that slip. It's never 100% true.

You're right, she both composed and arranged WONDERLAND, which to me is an incredible feat.

Wonderland is a very theatral interlude... I don't know if she could put it well on something more music oriented, but Wonderland is wonderful the way it is^^

Music composed for her on the way she wants is her music... Songs that have a considerable hate level over her are by Crea, and even the all might LOVEppears and Duty have nothing composed by her... Rainbow on the other hand, who is mostly composed by her, doesn't really seen to be very liked over here too...

I don't care who composed whatever she is releasing if it's good, and imo, her releases are good.

RAINBOW isn't one of my favourites, but I really love the flow and the feel of that entire album. It's very pleasant to listen to, surprisingly even if you don't like all the songs. It's just that well put together. Has a very nice atmosphere to it, I guess you could say.
