What I still can't really figure out... Will this tour be like a tour for existing fans that have known her from before her US-career, or is she going for a TITO-tour to have more fans that didnt know already know about her? I don't get it... 'Cause TITO is pretty much dead, it's not like she'll make some kind of breakthrough with it a year after its release just by doing a small tour... I think her little tour will just be a tribute to her hardcore fans really.

^Well... Gaga's album was released last year, and Just Dance was released on April of 2008... and her breakthrough for real was this year...

Hikki's small tour is not going to make her a top tier pop star, but more people is going to listen to her, and this is the better promotion she can get right now

about incorporating japanese songs in her tour...i have a feeling she will since she sung some of her english songs in her UU06 tour.

I know GaGa actually got famous in that sort of way, I just don't see Utada doing it. I don't see this tour as a TITO-promotion, more like an "Oh well, I've gotten tons of support from my existing fans who love my jpop-music, I guess I could do a little tour for them". I'm very happy she is having some concerts here and there...and London... But I just can't understand why she would do it. It just seems so random and not thought through... And London? TITO wasn't even released there AFAIK... This Is The One never was, and never will be.

hikki's famous and all, just like ayu and namie, but she hardly does anything like them. she's like a freelancer in the business. i like that, but then again sometimes i don't lol. oh, and i'm talking about her music career in japan, not the US. they're two different stories, i'm sure.

^^Sometimes I wished she released as frequently as them, but in the end I'm glad she doesn't-- I think it would definitely take it's toll on her music if she did.

that's true...that's why people never get tired of her. she makes us wait and when she announces something we get all crazy and her sales are really good.

and omg i want those dates already. me and my best friend are planning on going if she has a tour date in SF. has anyone checked her official site to make sure she hasn't posted them yet? UBLOG doesn't get everything that fast, maybe they forgot her official myspace?

It's blank now and it only has one friend... o.O But it also says it hasn't logged in since 2007 which is impossible if I'm going to the right URL because she only made it at the beginning of 2009. Does someone want to correct me or is something freaking just going on with her MySpace?

maybe she abandoned that myspace account and moved on to FACEBOOK. i'm pretty sure she has an official facebook.

Um, when I click on that link, it shows she has over 19000 friends, hah. >.> And I did catch a glimpse before if fully loaded, and it did say the last log-in was in 2007 (it doesn't show the log-in once it's loaded). But I remember I checked it a few months ago and it had a very recent date, so I don't know what that's about......

The MySpace page still is showing blank for me. No friends, no pictures and no info. Quite odd.

And she does have an official Facebook group (as mentioned before on Facebook musicians don't use accounts that you add as friends like MySpace; you become a fan.) However, as far as I know, she was never personally active with the Facebook page like she was with the MySpace page. I'm pretty sure the Facebook has always been staff managed.

^Haha, are you logged into MySpace? Because I don't have an account there so that might be why I can't see it? But I used to be able to so unless they made some new changes I don't know why I can't see it.

The London venue deleted her concert from their website..

I wonder what's up. Maybe it was supposed to be secret, or maybe they changed the venue.
