I prefer males. For some reason I just find myself listening to male voices more and it's something that I'm more into over Females. Especially Rock/alternative songs.

Females FTW!

I rarely listen to men. Men I listen to:
ARASHI
Ken Hirai
Tohoshinki/DBSK

All the rest are women

I think there's a wider range of female vocal styles I like compared to male.

Female clearly --> Lara Fabian, Leona Lewis, Ayaka Hirahara, Ayumi Hamasaki, ayaka, Yuna Ito... the list is way longer^^

However, last month I was thinking that I didn't have a consequent male singers discography, apart from Jean-Jacques Goldman, Josh Groban, UVERworld and Shunsuke Kiyokiba. Since then, I discovered by chance Davud Archuleta, Greg Laswell, Weezer, The Trews, Train... A lot of male voices^^

Female mostly. There are some songs sung by men that I get obsessed about but kinda happens once in a while and with female it happens like always.

my theory is that i like to sing along with songs and i dont' want to be singing about "your gorgeous eyes, your beautiful hair" etc XD
Yep, same here

In general, I listen to many more female singers, and I believe that females are more suited for the role of being of singer, just because there's more they can work with in the music industry... But on the other hand, if a guy can sing really well...that's totally hot. Love it! XP And in the end, singing - or music, in general - shouldn't be based on your gender. So I choose I like both equally. Because despite what I said, I can enjoy a good male singer as much as a good female singer; if the guy's voice is hot, I'll love it so much more than most female singers, lol.

As far as pop goes, female vocalists for sure. There's really very few male artists or vocalists I listen to, and even those I'm not a huge fan.

But I also listen to plenty of rock and the great majority of those are male-fronted.
