This, lol. Like, yeah, Kuu is a little **** a lot of the time. But that's her, and she's one of the few women who are that way and it fits them perfectly, hah! Like, you look at that picture and think, "God, how trashy....but she looks good. " For other ****s, you just look at them and think, "ew, why is she always hanging out?? D:"... Nasty, dirty Kuu... I both hate her and love her for it. It's very complicated.

i usually like her sexy outfits and such, but with half of her ass just hanging out like that it's trashy and i don't see how anyone can say it's not.

i really hope they'll announce something soon! if they announce it this/next week it'll probably for a late january release date... maybe the 20th or 27th. or maybe this year we'll get an album in february?

Exactly. I love her sexy image, but there's a fine line between being sexy and being trashy, and sometimes Kumi's stuff crosses over into trashy instead of sexy. That picture is a fine example. But I think the naked image of her for the 12 Singles project is sexy.

Okay, I have a question: What exactly is it that makes Kumi, or any other artist, "skanky" or "****ty" or whatever, compared to "sexy"? For me, I consider something trashy if there's any nudity when there shouldn't be (*points to Kuu's booty*), whenever somebody tries to be overly sexy when that's not who they've ever been, or whenever somebody crosses a line and makes me go "ew...," rather than "ooh...," lol. (For example, Kumi's Selfish video was sexy and kinda oooh, but her SHAKE IT or JUICY videos..? EW. >_>) That last one's kinda hard to define... It's just something that's obviously wrong or over-the-top. Also along those lines, any time a girl obviously looks literally trashy (there's just that look--usually really freakin' sweaty, hardly any clothes, or just overly sexual in an "omg STD!! D:" sorta way, lol) and is getting waaaayy too close to every single male in the video... That usually can't be played up to a classy-sexy way, ya know? And of course, any time there's really cheesy sexual lyrics or talk involved, or cheesy and provocative outfits, things can get bad-nasty fast.

i don't think SHAKE IT was gross because she looked nice in it... like, clean. in JUICY it looks like she's been in the 100 degree weather all day and it gives you the impression that her clothes are stuck on her body because it's so sticky. it just looks dirty. same with Physical thing, her face looks so shiny and greasy and pouring champagne or whatever it was on herself wasnt sexy because you could imagine how sticky and gross that would feel. Crazy 4 U had the same thing, she looked sweaty and nasty.

Well, that picture with her ass literally hanging out and the bottle humping and dry humping in JUICY is what I consider to be trashy. To contrast, I consider things like Cutie Honey to be sexy in a classy way, especially the dancing on the bar part. It sounds tacky and trashy, but it was handled nicely and looked sexy, personally. I could probably give more example but I would need to re-examine her videos and stuff lol.

Just want I wanted to say. Her image fits her well, she can definitely pull off the sexy image and that's great but then she can also pull of the trashy image and well... that's not so great

I always love her music though, some people are being like "Oh after Black Cherry her music just went downhill" Which I don't think is true, I think she's testing out things here and there but I still love her a lot! No matter her image. Its just sometimes I can't watch a performance of hers cause she looks too trashy and that's when it starts to get a little off center for me.

Yeah, I thought the CUTIE HONEY break was "classy," too. I mean, it was really random and totally in your face, but she managed to pull it off without making you think of pure sleaze the entire time.
I think JUICY had so much potential to not be trashy. But they ended up just overdoing everything and throwing as much "sexy" in our faces as possible. Take away the sweat and random, nasty humping and she was just regular sexy. Whatever. But Crazy 4 U..? That was kinda gross, how she was grinding her belt and crap, combined with everything else.

I like what you said, Cutie. About how you could imagine how awful she must feel, looking all dirty like that. That's a good way to define trashy, hah.

I agree with all this. At first I also thought she was going downhill, but she's obviously experimenting a little bit. And besides, every artist has at least one dry spell. I have high hopes for Kumi next year.
