^So? Rule was a well accepted song, people seem to have liked it. She sang SURREAL the last year, it's not all about promotion...
Hmm when it comes to her vocals, I do think that compared to CDL 07-08 she has improved a bit, the TV ver. was hard for me to listen to during some of the songs (and I love her "live" voice). Her voice during PCDL did sound better (the TV ver. again). As for the Sunrise performances, the Music Station one was my fave one and she did good  I don't think that Ayu is pre-recording anything because she is afraid of how she'll sound (for all we know the whole show might've been pre-recorded). She had bigger "flops" in TV shows during her career than not sounding good (ie the Voyage performance when she forgot the lyrics and she had the whole choir behind her...). It's not enough that it's your opinon, you gotta have to create it into some kind of law, and try to tell others that they are wrong saying its not lipsync, or whatever. Also, maybe sometimes people dont wanna have a rational conversation about Ayu. Sometimes, they just love something so much that they wanna overlook, and I wanna do that a lot too. I dont want to have someone force their own opinions into me, saying how bad she is, how she always lipsyncs, and if she sounds good, it must be edited. And I read that you didnt mean that if she sounds good in TV live then it must be edited, but you did say that you wonder if the reason why CDTV was not live was because she's afraid of vocals, and if you say that, doesnt it imply she will edit that vocal too? I wanted to say that for a long time now, to stop trying to make everything into a fact that she has not improved at all from 2007 - 2008 countdown, how sucks she is, how she always lipsyncs, etc, because it just pissed everyone off... try to make things sound more non-confrontational and not looking for a fight, because thats how it sounds, when you always complain about something and put ... thanks.Thats all I will say to that, so on another note, I'm really looking forward to the performance of You were... I can't wait! |

(Except Sunrise and Sunset Covers ) Honestly I'm a member of another Ayu forum and everything Ayu does is bad for the members there, I doubt they are really fans, the way they hate on her releases there. When you write your opinion there, you get backlash immediately (especially if they disagree) So I much prefer AHS - and I like the members and how mature they seem. I also like to read SunshineSlayers opinions, so just leave her be.

So it's the same everybody here does, but when somebody with your opinion does the same you don't mind. And sometimes when ayu very obviously playbacked(PCDL ANGEL'S SONG, AT09 EnergizE) she sure will express her opinion in a more direct way, because it sometimes is shocking how people do NOT notice and stick to saying ayu sung live, sometimes even saying ayu ALWAYS sings live, which we all know is not true. Another thing: When a performance for TV or radio is prerecorded, the chances of it being edited are 95% at least, they will definitly run an auto-tuner over it fixing all the off notes, because that takes a few seconds and has big effect, it can even be done live for a few years now, the devices doing that live are spotted in more and more concerts.(I remember a 2003 or 2002 report of a britney spears concert saying there were 3 of them on stage for example) and probably often are backstage so people don't see them. Also, I don't know if I get you right, but are you implying that SunshineSlayer said ayu hasn't improved from CDL0708? I don't remember her ever saying that and I'm pretty sure she hasn't because CDL0708 was a special case, being a few days before or after her completely losing the hearing on one ear. And I think we all agree that ayus vocals in the past ~2-3 years have generally been around the same level with some ups and downs. And AT09 for a big part has been more towards the down side. SunshineSlayer belongs to the few people on here that actually seem to have an opinion different from loving everything ayu does, to the few people that actually HAVE an own opinion on here. |

I became to appreciate and resepct Sunshineslayer since her opinions are just as good as mine.
I also love discussing with her from time to time even if it doesn't mean we will always agree. I don't think that Sunshineslayer hates ayu at all or even hint it and her opinions are needed as everyone else's. Now trolls and people who come here and say crap all the time or put the same "it's awful" sentences all over again, those are the people who annoy and have nothing to contribute as much as the "it's the best thing in the world" phrases people. |

@noidea - regarding the mic noise, I am not sure if you're aware of it xD but there is a whole "scientific" side of the story and today it's really easy to get rid of various types of noise...so that shouldn't even be considered a valid proof. It's one thing to attend the concert or watch the live broadcast and another thing to speculate and base your opinion on "heavily" edited footage. But I think that when it comes to that topic all has been said. I decided to enjoy the show instead of thinking about things that generally don't matter to me.
Ayu had pre-recorded performances before (Sunrise@Heyx3 anyone?, all the CDTV perfs. should also be pre-recorded) and she isn't the only one...so while I respect SunshineSlayer's opinion I think it wasn't necessary to point out the fact that Ayu might be avoiding to sing live as most likely the whole show is getting pre-recorded. She had tons of performances that were far from vocally impressive, tons of times she forgot the lyrics and even sang the wrong part of MW during two big shows the last year, why would she possibly be afraid after all that. IMO the main problem that some people has to SunshineSlayer posts is not really what is being said, but how is it being said... Sometimes I feel that she just "sounds" more agressive than she wants to be
About the lip-synch... this discussion is stupid... if Ayu doesn't messes up with anything or doesn't dance like someone having an epiletic atack (energize) it's just speculation... So, it's irritating when someone come here and keep repeating about how much she lip-synch having as proof things like "I have no life, so I compared all her lives from this 60 dates tour and concluded it all sounded the same! God knows she isn't singing at all!" or anything like that... cuz in the end is just a opinion, pretty much like "OMFG!1 AYU IS SO AWESOME AND HER POO IS MADE OF GOLD AND IS KIRA KIRA!" If people don't wanna discuss this, and if there is a specific topic about it, I don't get why bringing this on EVERYTIME the girl farts live! |

ooo so many performances!! Can't wait!! Last year I was new to the forum so I had a hard time keeping up with all the days performances but this year I am so ready!!! I have to clear out my hard drive so I can try and download the full shows!! lol
