there's a chance that they might perform at Kouhaku very early , like being the 1st artiste to kick off the event & then head off to start/host the countdown

it can happen . If TOKIO can be at both the Kouhaku & the Johnny's countdown at the same time , then why not ?

I just read at arama that Ayu is the first to perform at Kouhaku. And Arashi perform as the 42nd act, even later than TOKIO. What a rush...I'm curious now.

Wow, Arashi at Kouhaku was epic. The costume change was wow! And the unresponding Kouhaku people loved it. Somehow you just cannot not love Arashi. What I found really weird were those introductions to the guys. How can you miss them if you ever put on your TV? Like are there really people in Japan who don't know them? Then you must never watch TV. haha.
