The reason why German can't view some YT content is due to the dispute between YT Germany and the GEMA. I'm surprised that some of you didn't know that as this is common knowledge.

Oh, I remember that. This is the reason? Well, that sucks, especially for japanese videos. It's not like they sell these in Germanys record stores anyway.

Well, lucky you guys, who can watch the videos. But as long as there is no content that is available at youtube ONLY, it should be fine.
