ORICON = #1 (~231,000 copies).

"miss M." did indeed reach ORICON #1. The reason why I put Miyuki at 6 is that 御色なおし (Oiro Naoshi) is a cover album. If we include that, then it will be 7 in a row for her. I believe it was a mistake of mine not to include it. Thanks for correcting me.

I think it depends on the album. There's still chance that album will do better than NEXT LEVEL, if it will be album with more traditional Ayu-sound.

Japanese (and also the rest of the world) are poor after xmas, january is a bad month to sell something maybe XDD in spain we have a sentence to say that: La cuesta de enero... XDDD I think it would be: January slope? XDDD it exist in english too??

lol Ayu released her single right before the winter holidays - more people, especially in Japan, are going to focus on spending time with their family and focus on traditional holiday stuff... not buying music.

That, and it's not like the #1 seller isn't selling that much, either.

Plus, Ayu's been catering to her fans more and more. Remember "Rule/Sparkle" and "NEXT LEVEL"? Just cell phone, street ads, and PV advertisements. She's focusing on pleasing her national fans more as opposed to the general public. (I would have said just "fans" but there's a lot of picky and unpleasant people here who aren't pleased by a lot of her actions (promotion, looks, etc.).)
